I transition to data analytics field with studying this on the side. My formal background was in Economics and I worked as public policy analyst. I could share my own transition experience and how to break into data science / engineering industry today by self study approach. I worked at various levels from junior analyst to being involved in strategic projects in company with 10K+ employees and leading those initiatives. I know how good work portfolio should look like and how to build one and can guide on this process. I am experienced in SQL, R, Python, analytics project management, working with both technical and business people.
